The ERASMUS+ Info Session on the Erasmus Mundus Scholarship was successfully held virtually via Zoom, welcoming 230 participants from various countries and academic backgrounds.
The session was moderated by Assoc. Prof. Dr Mohd Ariffin Abu Hassan, Erasmus+ National Focal Point (ENFP) for Malaysia, and began with a welcome address by Mr Samuel Wejchert, Political Officer at the Delegation of the European Union to Malaysia. His presence underlined the continued support for the Erasmus Mundus Scholarship programme and its commitment to widening access to quality higher education.
The main presentation was delivered by Dr Ronald Willie Binati from the Erasmus Mundus Association, who provided participants with a comprehensive overview of the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s Degree (EMJM) scholarship, including its prestige, structure and benefits.
Among the key highlights shared during the session were:
☆ A fully funded master’s program offering study mobility across at least three European universities
☆ Study duration of one to two years, with industry engagement opportunities in the final semester
☆ Over 200 master’s programs are available across diverse fields, catering to a wide range of academic interests
Through initiatives such as this, we hope to inspire more students and professionals to pursue advanced studies and seize international scholarship opportunities.
